It's Been Awhile...

Well well I'm headed off to Canada in a few days so I suppose it's time to break out the old blog again. Let's see, since my last post I've moved from Las Colinas to Uptown with Marianne, moved Target stores, changed from food to logistics, gotten a promotion, seen a few friends get married, tried flyboarding and paddle boarding, gone to Free Press with Samantha, Mitch and Trevor, went to Voodoo in NOLA with Mark, Jeff and Hernandez, visited the Arboretum, gone to the fair and a whole lot of other really fun stuff! All in all 2013 was a pretty good year.

So to start of 2014 Mark and I are headed to Canada! I'll blog while we're there so you can see how my first ski adventure is going.

Let's see, we leave Tuesday at 7:15am headed for Vancouver. We get in around noon and are staying at the Moda in downtown. We have the rest of Tuesday and all day Wednesday to explore Vancouver and so far have no real plans.

On Thursday morning we board a bus for Whistler and will be there until Monday at Whistler Pinnacle (selling point is a hottub IN the room!). We have 3 days of lift tickets for skiing and partial days on either end to explore the village, go tubing or anything else we want to do.

Monday night we're back in Vancouver staying at the River Rock Casino Resort before we fly back to Dallas the next day.

This trip has been in the works for a very long time and I am SO excited it's finally almost here! It seems Dallas has decided to help us prepare for the trip as we were given a lovely snow day today (see pics below)! It seems to be sticking around through the night so hopefully we can try out parking garage sledding again.
