The Job Hunt

Over the past few days I've come to realize that interviewing for jobs is much like going through sorority recruitment (except you usually don't get to go to more than one interview at a time). I mean you spend a lot of time doing your hair, make up and picking out the perfect outfit to impress the company (or sorority) you are interviewing with. The whole process makes you totally nervous because you are competing against a bunch of other people for a limited number of spots. The actual interviews are much like recruitment conversations, they all ask the same thing, and you spend the whole time trying to sell yourself to your interviewer hoping they think you fit in with their group. Why do we put ourselves through things like this?
Because in the end it's (hopefully) worth it. Hopefully you come away with job offer that pays well, is in a good location, and will be challenging and enjoyable.
So here's hoping that all these resume submissions will lead to job interviews which will eventually lead to a job (preferably before May 13).
I did have a job interview today, so hopefully that went well and I make it to the next round because I think the job would be really interesting and fun and it's in Dallas which is nice.

Also, just for fun...
